Blackbird

It makes me sick to my stomach to submit this.

I've been gone for quite some time. Typically, you can't keep me away from dA for more than a few weeks at a time. But this time it's been two months. December, it was the holidays. January... it hasn't been a good month. The worst month.

I dedicate this piece to my little brother, Oliver. He passed away on the 9th of January.

The lyrics are Blackbird, by The Beatles... Oli's favorite band. The tattoo upon the girls arm stands for his name, the bearer of the olive branch. The three olives signify the three of us: me, my brother who is gone, and my brother who remains. And the tears... well...

Little brother, I miss you. I hope you can see how much we all love you...
